My monthly faves!

This month I have been trying so hard to save money for my upcoming trip to New York in June!
So I decided to try and not splurge and resist the temptation to buy more make-up however I have bought some products this month which I am loving and I thought I would share them with you!

1. Make-Up Revolution Radiant Lights Glow £5.00

Swatch of the highlighter

How amazing is this colour!!!

The simple but sleek packaging

Firstly I cant express enough love for this brand, it has amazed me at how good quality the products are for such a low price!!

After finishing my highlighter I was using I was on the hunt for a nice subtle but noticeable highlight similar to my previous mac highlighter without the huge pricetag! This product is so creamy and pigmented. It gives off the most amazing glow to my skin and is  perfect for my pale skin as it adds just enough bronzer mixed with a gorgeous gold toned shimmer but not too much that it looks stripy or cakey! I picked this up and was blown away by how well this product not only stays on but how pigmented it is! For only £5 it is an absolute bargain, cant wait to pick up the other two highlighters in the colours breathe and exhale!

2. Urban Decay Naked smoky palette £34.00

Swatches of the eyeshadows.. so pigmented!!

Full view of the palette

The fluffy end of the brush included with the palette

How gorge is this packaging!!

Technically I did not buy this but was an early Christmas present from my older sister! I have always wanted more of the urban decay make-up palettes after purchasing naked on the run however could never justify spending that much as opposed to drug store eye shadow palettes. I was always stealing my younger sisters naked 1 and naked basics palette. When my sister arrived home from holidays with this for me no exaggeration i started to well up..hahaha typical make-up addict!!

Firstly how pretty is the packaging, so stunning!! It has the most perfect selection of colours! I love all things sparkly and dark so this was the perfect palette for me! It is great for everyday eye make-up looks and also dramatic night out make-up looks. I am obsessed with the shade armor, the dark silvery grey sparkly shade looks amazing on top of a black base ( I used black gel eyeliner all over my lid), showing green and blue sparkly undertones. I also love how the palette comes with a dual ended brush which is of amazing quality, a fluffy blending brush perfect for the crease and a smaller densely packed smudging brush.

3 L' Oreal Paris Color Riche Exclusive Eva Pink Lipstick £6.99

Delicate rose swatch

I was on the search for a nice bright but not too bright lipstick! I am so bad for being stuck in my comfort zone of wearing nudes as cause I have such bright auburn coloured hair and pale skin I find it hard to wear brighter pink lipsticks. I picked thee shade Delicate Rose in Boots and right after was kicking myself thinking it would be too bright for me due to Eva longoria designing it and she has the most gorgeous bronzed skin! However this is the perfect colour! Its such a nice formula to, so creamy and not drying on the lips which is a great bonus for me as coming into winter my lips tend to get dry so this is perfect! I cant wait to try out more of the celebrity lipsticks simply because of the formula. Its only  £6.99 as opposed to the usual £13 i spend on higher end lipsticks, was so pleasantly surprised by this lipstick.

4. Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Foil Finish Eye shadows £5.00

Rose gold eye foil

Rose gold eye foil for a quick simple daytime look

Black Diamond, Pure Platinum and Rose Gold eye shadow foils

Liquid Primer along with the mixing tray and foil eye shadow

As you can probably tell I have a thing for anything sparkly and glittery! I wanted some eye shadows for wearing on nights out or for dinner, just to really glam up an outfit. I had heard a friend talking about the Stila magnificent metals foil finish eye shadows and decided to research them and my jaw hit the floor. £35 for one single eye shadow I couldn't justify that at all. I was looking in Superdrug and came across these and decided to try them out. I purchased the shades Pure platinum, Black Diamond and Rose Gold. They look exactly the same as the Stila ones even right down to the packaging! It contains the foil finish shadow, the liquid eye primer and the mixing tray.

To use you simply mix the liquid primer with the eye shadow to create almost a paste and then almost paint on the eye shadow. Firstly.. HOW, These are hands down the most pigmented eye shadows I have ever tried! They have such great staying power and give off the most amazing sparkle. I couldn't believe how easy they are to use also. They are my go to product if I want a last minute glittery eye, so quick and easy to use!

The rose gold colour is such a beautiful rosey coloured goldy bronze and the black diamond has a blue and green undertone to it. They are just so pigmented for such a small prize I am amazed!! Honestly try these, you will not be disappointed!!

I hope you have enjoyed reading about my monthly favourite make-up purchases, I honestly couldn't recommend the brand Makeup Revolution enough, it has the qualities of a high end brand product with such a small price tag. Its a great brand for those of you whom like me love your makeup but dont want to have to spend more money than necessary. Let me know if there is anything you want me to do a review on or any looks you would like me to do!

Happy Reading,
